This has been an exciting spring wedding season. We have so many new things coming up,but first let me thank our coaches, and all the players on our girls softball team. Thank you for all your hard work! We are proud of all of you. Next I would like to let everyone know that we will have 2 vehicles in McDonald's 4th of July Parade on Wednesday, and our girls softball team is scheduled to be escorted down the parade route by a monster truck. Also, we have the privilege of having our name on a race car this year. Youngstown Wedding Ministers will be on Sprint Car number 69X driven by Robert Van Tassel at Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio. We will be updating you with pictures as they become available. Work on our wedding chapel is proceeding as planned. We will be updating the website with more information in the next couple weeks. We are currently in the process of remodeling our wedding chapel, and expect that we will open within the next 2 weeks. We will become the first wedding chapel located in the Mahoning Valley. We will be offering our services with the use of our wedding chapel for those budget minded couples that have been hit hard by our economy. We will be able to seat up to 14 guests plus the bride and groom. We are working on a reception package to offer also. We are thinking of a small reception of up to forty guest. This will be an optional package that a couple can get with our wedding chapel package. We may consider offering this same venue as a bridal shower or baby shower package also. We will be offering new wedding packages in the near future. We had several request in the past for our officiant services were our couples didn't have a wedding site, or even have one in mind. We have made a decision to offer our own wedding chapel services, and we our in the process of securing all the details. We do have an new office location in mind, and we are set to move in sometime in May. We are hopeful that we will not only be able to provide a wedding venue for up to 40 guest, but a possible site for the reception. Also we will hopefully be able to provide our own caterer, and all this together will be the beginning of a all in one wedding center here in Youngstown, Ohio. Youngtown Wedding Ministers has sponsored a girls (9-10 yrs. old) softball team through the McDonald Baseball Association. Our girls were set for a scrimmage Sunday, but due to a quick arriving thunderstorm it was rained out. Their first game was Tuesday the 27th here in McDonald. Our lady ministers stomped out the Girard team 15 - 5. They are set to take on another challenger tonight Thursday here at the McDonald Ball Fields. We have alot of talented girls on our team, and we are proud to be their sponsor. This is an exciting venture for us, and we look forward to a great season. Stay tuned for updates. Rev. DeZee and Rev. Evans are excited about this weekends weddings. Rev. Evans will be officiating a wedding around Akron, Ohio today. Rev. DeZee will be officiating a wedding at the Main St. Theater in Columbiana, Ohio this evening. Since the 1950's the theater has been a landmark in Columbiana, and shown numerous feature films over the years. Although today is the making of history for the Main St. Theater. For the very first time a couple will be united in matrimony at the Main St. Theater. Hot DJ Derrick from Blazing Entertainment will graciously supply the music for today's wedding, and reception. This is an answer to email we received, and we wanted to share it with all our potential couples. "I see that you serve Ohio, Pa, and West Va.. Where exactly has your ministers performed wedding? " - Cindy R. Maple Heights, Ohio We have officiated all over Northeast Ohio, and Western Pa. We have gone to Akron, Canton, Boardman, Fowler, Vienna, Brookfield, Parma, West Middlesex, Pa Columbiana, and many more towns here in Northeast Ohio. We have performed weddings at private residences, country clubs, banquet centers, churches, and even in the middle of a lake. Yes you read that right. One of our ministers performed a ceremony on a pontoon boat in the middle of Pymatuning Lake. We have officiated ceremonies at such places as Stambaugh Auditorium, the historic St. James Meeting House, Boardman Park Gazebo, Sarah's Vineyard, Julia's Bed and Breakfast, the Saxon Club, Maffit's Meadows, and many more. This year we are booked as far away as Sandusky, Ohio to Wheeling, W. Va. We are booked at prestigious places such as the Butler North ( formerly the First Christian Church), Stambaugh Auditorium, Five Oaks Mansion, Olgebay Resort, and St. James. Youngstown Wedding Ministers will be in Youngstown's St. Patrick's Day parade next Sunday March 14th at 1 PM in Boardman, Ohio. The parade will start north up Market St. from McClurg Rd. and stop at Southwoods.
